• Why It Matters

  As the sunniest state in the nation, Arizona is primed to be an advanced energy leader, but we need to continue to invest in transmission infrastructure.

• What’s the Solution?

  Arizona has taken another step closer to leading on advanced energy! Last week the Arizona passed Assembly Bill 2496, which will exempt transmission lines that are one mile or less from going through the transmission line siting committee. This may sound technical, but it will reduce the backlog of transmission applications, allowing for more clean energy to reach the grid faster!
