• Why It Matters

  Due to extreme weather events and increasing demand for electricity, our electric grid is being stretched to its limit. In turn, utilities and governments are asking families and businesses to use less energy. It’s a failure to support clean energy solutions by the states.

• What’s the Solution?

  We know that when a family or business has access to clean energy solutions they can help reduce demand without the extra burden of turning off their air conditioning during the summer or their heater during the cold. That’s why we need states across the country to support the clean energy solutions that consumers can control – smart thermostats, rooftop solar, small battery storage systems.
