To ensure grid reliability, Virginia must make grid improvements to ensure prices remain affordable and the lights stay on. By accelerating the implementation of grid-enhancing technologies (GETs), we can modernize Virginia’s energy system while keeping costs low.

  House Bill 862 would make more clean energy available to families to use reliably and affordably by urging utilities to invest in grid-enhancing technologies. The Virginia Senate needs to consider and pass this bill as well to send it to the governor for his signature.
